Colifox project
„Development and implementation in the applicant’s business activity of a globally novel solution — the first Polish polyvalent vaccine for the prevention of PWD and ED infections in pigs caused by pathogenic E. coli bacteria (colibacillosis)” 2018-2023

The project was financed under the programme of the National Centre for Research and Development, Smart Growth 2014–2020.
The aim of the project was to develop, confirm the effectiveness of, and introduce to the Polish market a vaccine for piglets around the weaning period against diseases caused by Escherichia coli bacteria — oedema disease (ED) and post-weaning diarrhoea (PWD). The project used IMMUNOLAB’s know-how in the development of immunogenic bacterial antigens and the technology of purifying IgY antibodies from chicken egg yolks.
