Campylox project

“Development of a globally novel vaccine for the prevention of Campylobacter jejuni infections in broiler chickens, intended for implementation on the Polish market, addressing one of the main sources of human campylobacteriosis” 2017-2021

The project was financed under the programme of the National Centre for Research and Development, Smart Growth 2014–2020.

The aim of the project was to develop, confirm the effectiveness of, and introduce to the Polish market a vaccine for broiler chickens against poultry infections caused by the pathogenic bacterium Campylobacter jejuni. The project used IMMUNOLAB’s know-how in the development of immunogenic bacterial antigens and the technology of purifying IgY antibodies from chicken egg yolks.
