The SIT OH-Sal kit is an in vitro diagnostic medical device intended for the rapid identification of bacterial strains of Salmonella spp. strains isolated from humans, animals or other test material. The kit contains polyclonal, absorbed antisera for slide agglutination of Salmonella bacteria.
The SIT OH-Sal kit contains:
3 bottles of antisera with dropper caps:
- 1 bottle, 1 ml, of polyvalent Salmonella Antiserum OM, for the identification of Salmonella somatic antigens,
- 1 bottle, 1 ml, of polyvalent Salmonella Antiserum HM, for the identification of Salmonella flagellar antigens,
- 1 bottle, 1 ml, of Salmonella Antiserum Vi, for the identification of the capsular antigen.
